Tyre test rigs are not standard machines. Every rig is a unique system of mechanics, hydraulics, electronics and measurement software — tailored to a single testing task. We build test rigs to your requirements, so that every test is carried out to standard: documented, repeatable, verifiable.

Producers testing uniformity, rolling resistance or endurance in series. Setup and measurement chain are tailored to the specific standard and product class.

In particular the Aachen clusters — RWTH and fka — whose test assignments define the industry's knowledge base. We build the rigs for new methods.

BlackTread Technologies was founded in February 2026 in Düren — on the edge of the Aachen research region, which has set the benchmarks for automotive testing technology for decades.
